WELCOME to CARSAME

CARSAME is a cooperative effort between the College of Agriculture and Home Economics and the Physical Science Laboratory at New Mexico State University NMSU Logo, the Army Research Laboratory at White Sands Missile Range, NM, the Directorate of Environment, US Army, Ft.Bliss, El Paso, TX and the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium .

We are working together to solve problems in Agriculture, Meteorology and the Environment through the real-time application of satellite remote sensing technology. This Web page has been set up to provide a variety of services like:

  • Access to real-time satellite data
  • Access to derived products based on the satellite data
  • A resource for education and outreach
  • Provide on-line access for decision support systems

as well as to provide a window, in general, to the world on our activities, such as our ground station image aquisitions, and our precipitation forecasts. We also provide links to other web sites of common interests such as our page of excellent education resources.

This page will be constantly under development, as we learn more and strive to serve our customers better.
